The Wait Is Over! The #BlackMagicMusicVideo Has Dropped!

What a wonderful day to be alive! And yes, the entire world is spell bounded!

Two weeks ago the little Mix girls announced the title of their new single- Black Magic on their Youtube channel (LittlemixVEVO). And since then there has not been a single moment of peace in the Little Mix fandom.

And finally after two weeks of wait and thousands of imaginations and assumptions about how the music video is gonna look like, the British girls have dropped the official music video today.

The video starts of by showing four nerdy girls clumsily and nervously walking through the school hallway. They then come across a long-haired and handsome popular guy vying for his attention.

And the man that Perrie’s got her eyes on seems to strike a resemblance to her soon-to-be husband Zayn, with his tall, dark and handsome looks and an indie ponytail.

They then find a book of spells in the library and use the spells to transform into these uptown chic ladies which also helps them boost their confidence and aura.

This music video can be classified as sort-of controversial as the video shows the girls capturing all the attention from the entire school after their transformation, sending a message that the only way to get a guy’s attention is by being something you’re not. But in my opinion, they could have ended the video by showing perrie getting the guy, but instead the girls found confidence and helped other nerdy students boost their.

The fans  took over twitter and trended #BlackMagicMusicVideo which shot up to the #1 worldwide trend. Celebrities such as Niall Horan showed his support too by tweeting “Listening to @ … Black magic is a tuuuuuunnneeee ! It’s gona be huge !”

Little Mix have not released an album since Salute in 2013 and Jesy explained it was because they scrapped an entire albums worth of songs because they felt they weren’t good enough to release.

She said: “We’ve been away a while because we wrote an album, sat with the record label and we thought, ‘Nope, it’s not good enough’.

“We recorded a whole album but we’re perfectionists and knew we could do better. So we scrapped it and started again.

“It was very stressful, it just wasn’t happening.”

What do you think about the video? Is it their best video so far?
